  19. I still remember the chill that went through me at the first story about
  20. tampering with an over-the-counter medication. Everyone was at the mercy of an
  21. obviously sick mind, and we were not well prepared to defend ourselves. Panic
  22. seemed to spread through the nation, until we were all alerted to the signs
  23. and signals that might be observed to reveal that the medications in the
  24. package were not as they had been when they left the factory. Unfortunately,
  25. the fear of tampering with medication still rears it head from time to time.
  26.      Much has been done to prevent the recurrence of these incidents.
  27. Over-the-counter medicines are now packaged in new and more secure ways that
  28. more easily display evidence when tampering occurs. However if you have
